Director of Marketing Operations

The Director Marketing Operations will lead the implementation of the marketing strategy in coordination with product management and creative teams. This critical role will drive the development and execution of innovative marketing and communication strategies that effectively combine strategic partnership, along with digital, social and traditional media channels. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and structured professional, with exceptional communication skills known for driving successful execution of initiatives.

The incumbent will manage Product Managers, will collaborate with sales and marketing and the Executive Vice President on strategic objectives for marketing and lead generation activities and will collaborate on brand strategy as well. The incumbent will manage relationships and workflow between product managers and creative resources, will manage lead generation activities, align content management strategy to align with overall marketing objectives, product specific objectives and will work with internal and external resources to develop and source appropriate content.  The incumbent will manage and deliver marketing metrics, coordinate the execution of all digital marketing activities, oversee marketing automation and Salesforce.com platforms to ensure optimal processes for inbound leads management, from data capture through to lead routing and reporting. The incumbent will help develop new and powerful ideas that build relevance and motivation for the brand and monitor campaign performance against KPIs refining campaigns to continually increase conversion and reduce time from lead to opportunity.

Qualifications include a University degree in marketing, business administration of equivalent, 5+ years of experience in marketing, 2-3 years of direct management experience, work experience using Salesforce and Pardot, high competence with online marketing tools, web analytics platforms; ability to synthesize data into results-oriented lead generation tactics, strong communication and presentation skills, an analytical and methodical mindset; highly organized and strong attention to detail, general knowledge of project management principles. Animal Health Industry experience is required.
